It looks absolutely poor on the Retina Display. Not acceptable for an app which charges $200 to unlock its features.

In the store it looked like a tool for professionsal, but then it tried to phone home on startup. Goodbye.
No retina support - uninstalled immediately.
I was looking for some nice DB tool that is compatible with Postgres, some where in internet there was suggestion to try this product. It’s totaly fine when you still sit on old macs but it doesn’t have retina support and if you spend most of your time looking to your DB tool - it’s not your choice.
This is an amazing product, that is now alongside XCode in my suite. Being able to communicate with MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite right out of the box, working on the first try is an impressive thing. The consoidation of the tools access these multiple systems into one tool is a very very nice thing to have. PGAdmin, MySQLWorkbench, and sqlite command line tools are now demoted. I like it so much, I am going to have to try the Valentina DB.
It is so useful and cool stuff. I am used Navicat before, and installed this studio. I will never back to Navicat, it is much more powerfull!!
- no syntax highlighting - no retina support - no fullscreen mode
As q-p-z said, need fullscreen mode and retina support. Especially retina support! Syntax highlighting works well, thank you. Ну и русского языка не хватает.
Hello. Tell me when will be support for retina and Russian language?! And so the choice of language in manual mode?! After the data fix, you can think about the Pro version. Many thanks in advance.
First line of app description says "=== 100% Free - [...]" The $200 in app purchase contradicts the app description. I dont know if the developer intended this contradiction or if it was an oversight.
This SQL editor is free! I have been using it with their fast database Valentina but it also works for MySQL, SQLite and imports and exports. Ive tried it with local files and with databases in my Bonjour network.
Be waiting for a better version. Try to used on my other laptop with 10.8.3, its great without any problem. Thanks again!
This product is excellent as far as I can tell. So far there havent been any gotchas.
...but I cant see how to connect it to my mysql database via socket - it only offers to connect to a database via port. I probably missing something here but this seems like a major limitation to what appears to be a very robust app.
It would be a nice tool if it did not close the script tabs when the connection "unexpectedly closed". Couldnt it ask me to save my work before silently closing it?!? That is a big issue for me - Im uninstalling this app.
I find it very productive to have the result of a query open up in a new tab; however it will be great if you can provide a combination of keys to be able to cycle through those tabs ( you already have that for the first row of tabs, like when a new sql editor opens up). also, now that I am here, it would be useful to be enable sql script formatting when creating a view or a function script
I love this tool and although the price of the Pro version is steep I’ll seriously be considering purchasing it. I’m using Valentina primarily as a tool for entering data into tables and as a way to both validate and build new SQL. It’s very straightforward to use and I’m impressed with the speed of the app.
This version still not support retina display :(
This is one of the nicest editors out there. It works well with PostgreSQL, which pleases me. Overall, everything works great. In the SQL editor I do have some issues. Every save forces the choosing of which file again. Basically, it’s always “Save As…” instead of just “Save”.
I get an error: function pg_get_keywords() does not exist. In other parts: pg_postmaster_start_time() does not exist.
